Planning and Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Planning and Procurement Manager to join our Supply Chain Department. As the Planning and Procurement Manager, you will be overall responsible for our purchasing planning and procurement within the BRAV Timeline. You will work closely with manufacturers, sales, product development and sourcing to streamline purchase volume and inventory levels, contributing to the overall success of our company.
To excel in this position, you must possess a commercial mindset and have a deep understanding of the complexity of our business model. At the same time, you should be able to work hands-on with meticulous attention to detail. You will contribute to improving our company timeline and develop systems and methods for efficient planning and procurement.
While our ultimate goal is to fully utilize D365 and other applications for planning, extensive knowledge of Excel is essential until the implementation of standard applications.
As the Planning and Procurement Manager, your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Drive Improvement: Own the development and continuous improvement of purchasing planning, shaping the future of our processes within the BRAV Timeline.
- Establish Efficiency: Document and maintain work processes that foster transparency, ensuring seamless continuity in purchase planning.
- Leverage Technology: Implement planning processes in cutting-edge systems, leveraging the power of tools like D365 to streamline operations.
- Inspire Growth: Coach and guide colleagues, empowering them to excel in the planning process and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Strategize for Success: Prepare comprehensive purchase plans that align with demand, manufacturer capacity, agreements and budgets, fueling our strategic goals.
- Influence Decision-Making: Actively participate in decision meetings, translating outcomes into practical, actionable plans that propel our organization forward.
- Ensure Seamless Procurement: Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and effective coordination of purchase orders and deliveries.
- Optimize Inventory Management: Develop and maintain effective strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize waste, and ensure timely availability of goods, driving operational excellence.
Who are we looking for?
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following qualification requirements:
- Excellent native and English language skills, both written and verbal.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- Good knowledge of business application tools such as ERP (preferably D365), Excel/Power BI, planning and forecasting systems.
- Theoretical and strategic capability to identify and implement solutions through change management, system alignment, and process improvement.
- Highly skilled in planning using complex models, considering factors such as budget, capacity, and locations.
- Leadership skills, including continuous development of your own team and contributing to the Supply Chain Management team.
- 5-10 years of experience in large purchasing organizations, with experience in Asia manufacturing being desirable.
