Your Mission:

As the Strategic Sourcing Manager at Swix Hardware, you will oversee both strategic and tactical purchase and sourcing operations. Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, negotiations, and managing purchasing processes. You will cooperate closely with factory operations both externally and internally in Lithuania and Lillehammer, ensuring the efficient production of ski poles, ski wax and tools.

What You'll Do:

• Guide a team of purchasing and supply chain professionals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in supply chain, product development, and sales across Swix and other Brav brands.
• Handle supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Manage production planning in Lithuania and work closely together with the Operations Manager at the Lillehammer on production development.
• Be a sparring partner to the Managing Director of Swix on major investments and act as a crucial member of the Swix, driving our vision forward.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years in a senior role with extensive experience in sourcing and purchasing.
• Higher education degree in engineering, business administration, operations management, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading teams.
• Strong background in procurement standards and international procurement operations, particularly in Asia and Europe.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Ability to drive change and innovation in sourcing setups.
  • Collaborative team player and strategic partnership builder.
  • Attention to detail in critical documents and processes
  • Proficient in English and Norwegian (written and verbal).
  • Proficient in digital productivity tools (MS Office/Google Workspace).
  • Knowledge of business applications tools (ERP, Planning); D365 is an advantage
