We're looking for someone with a proven track record in sales leadership and market expansion, who’s ready to make a significant impact in the winter sports industry. As the Commercial Director for Swix US, you’ll oversee all commercial operations to drive market share, revenue, and profitability. You will lead sales and marketing teams, execute a commercial strategy aligned with Swix's global objectives, and ensure a strong market presence across product categories. Your role will also involve building key customer relationships and setting competitive pricing strategies to create growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the commercial operation and brand building of Swix in the US market.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies that align with Swix’s global goals to achieve growth targets.
- Lead, structure, and optimize the sales team to expand market reach and performance.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities in regions and channels while staying ahead of industry trends.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and retail partners.
- Set and adjust pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Ensure the team is knowledgeable about Swix products, effectively communicating their unique benefits to the customers and the market.
- Partner with finance, marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align initiatives.
- Uphold a culture of compliance and high ethical standards within the sales team.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years in a senior commercial role, ideally within sporting goods or outdoor industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Strong background in market analysis, sales strategy, and P&L management.
- Strong leadership skills with hands-on approach and the ability to drive results and inspire teams.
- A genuine interest in winter sports, with a solid understanding of the ski industry.
